Internet connection
In Iasi, Internet connection is not a problem. Based on Akamai report at January 2011, Constanţa, Iaşi and Timişoara are in the top 100 cities at the world level with the highest average Internet speeds. You can buy this service very easy, but you can also find a lot of Public Wi-Fi Hotspots.
TRANSPORT
BY AIR
The City has an international airport. There are three air transport companies operating international and internal lines. The internal lines are operating from / to Bucharest ( the capital of Romania) and from/to Timisoara. If you buy the tickets in Romania, the cost is about 100 EUR (Iasi - Bucuresti) and 216 EUR (Iasi Timisoara). The external courses are running from / to Italy (Roma) and Austria (Wien). BY RAIL
If you wish to travel from Bucharest to IASI by rail, you will have to leave from Bucharest Nord railway stations. There are 400 km between Bucharest and IASI and the journey will take you between 6 and 7 hours. We recommend you catch with the Rapid trains (fast) or Intercity, which stop only in a few stations. A single ticket for Intercity ("Blue Arrow") costs approx. 13 EUR. The first class ticket for rapid train costs aprox. 20 EUR. You will have to get off at IASI - the last station.
